Weekly Sunday Car Boot Sale Love Lane Car Park, Mold Mold Street Markets Mold Town Centre Street Markets Mold Gardening Club If you would like to enjoy an evening of gardening related topics, pick up hints on looking after your own garden, even pass on your own ideas, come and spend a relaxing evening (tea, coffee and biscuits available) and see for yourself. Other activites: various knowledgeable speakers, Spring and Summer show, coach trips to nurseries and spectaxcular gardens, yearly plant sale and seed exchange. Meeting every third Monday of the month at 7.15pm at the Bethesda Chapel meeting rooms (off New Street) by the entrance to Somerfield car park. Mold Town Concert Band Mold town concert band is a group of over 30 friendly musicians playing a variety of wind instruments. Age range from 11 to 80 at present and everyone is welcome who would wish to make beautiful music. Their repertoire ranges from serene to swing, concert marches, contemporary, popular, classical, jazz and big band arrangments. The emphasis is on performing a wide range of music whilst having fun. Rehearsals take place on monday evenings in Mold Town Hall between 7:15 and 9:15pm. You can enter the Quiz with up to 4 team members at £10 per team. Prizes, raffle, auction and a good night to be had in aid of the Lights Appeal. Tel: 01352 753744 25 November 2008 - 26 November 2008 The switch on for our Christmas Lights this year is to be on Tuesday the 25th November at 6pm. High Street will be closed from 12:30pm through till approximately 9pm to allow for the fun fair, festive activities and entertainment. Mums, Dads, Boys, Girls, Grans and Grandads - all can come and enjoy the start of Mold's Christmas delights. Fun and frolicks start from 4pm with the fantastic light switch on by Father Christmas at 6pm. |
